This course will cover the MS Office Suite. Word will include beginning features such as spell checker, the thesaurus, and the outline capabilities to intermediate (columns, writing tools, graphics) and onto advanced features (merging data). Excel provides special tools to help make sense out of vast amounts of data. Excel can be used to perform calculations using built-in formulas, everything from Standard Deviation to calculating your car payment, calculate grades, chart data that would otherwise be overwhelming. Components of PowerPoint such as text, graphs, 3-D objects, and animation will be covered. Access will be used to learn databases and their uses.
